Oliver! School Musical Production Wows Audiences
Lafayette, California (May 10, 2006) - Visitors
to CCJDS in Spring 2006 witnessed an incredible buzz of
activity.
Our all-school production of Oliver! featured nearly all seventy
of our
K-7 students working together as cast and crew. While middle schoolers
took the complicated lead roles of Oliver, Fagin, the Artful Dodger,
and Nancy and assembled complex stage sets, the lower school filled
in
with other roles, as part of the chorus, and as stage hands during
production. Our Oliver! was a high-quality, large-scale production
that
won rave reviews from audiences of family, friends and community,
many
with extensive experience in the arts.
The Artful Dodger (Danyal) asserts "I'll Do
Anything" to Nancy (Arabelle) in the CCJDS musical production
