Tributes
 
You can make a donation to the Contra Costa Jewish Day School at any time, in memory, honor, or appreciation of someone.  Funds received will be used on scholarships, or other areas that you specify.  This helps us to serve the greatest number of Jewish students as possible.  For more information on donations, please contact Karla Smith at (925) 274-1536. 

Car Donations
 
We arrange for pick-up and handle all of the paperwork.  Please call Karla Smith at (925) 274-1536 to donate your car and receive a generous tax deduction.

Stock Transfers

Thank you for making the CCJDS a priority in your philanthropy!

1. Contact Mike Simon at Morgan Stanley (925-746-2900) to let them know a stock transfer is coming and that you plan to contact your broker to execute the transfer. He will need to know the type of stock and the amount he should expect to see.

2. Provide the following info to Mike Simon to confirm this is all correct:

3. Provide the above information to your broker.

4. Contact Karla Smith (925) 274-1536, karlassmith@comcast.net, or Dean Goldfein at the school (925) 284-8288 deangoldfein@hotmail.com, to confirm that you have made a transfer. We then check to make certain it has been received, sold immediately, and the check issued to the school as a donation.

The final amount is usually slightly different from the price you last saw, due to timing and commissions taken.
